Ten Safe Use Measures for Miniature Excavators

1. The small excavator is transferred to the construction site and transported by a flatbed trailer.

2. When the ground of the small excavator is soft, sleepers or blocks should be placed. Swampy areas must be treated as subgrade or replaced with special track shoes first.

3. No rock or frozen soil above grade 5 shall be excavated without blasting.

4. When excavating with a small excavator, except for loose soil, the working surface should not exceed the maximum excavation height and depth specified by the performance of the machine. When the small excavator is working, the crawler should keep a safe distance of at least 1~1.5m from the edge of the working surface.

5. Before starting, check the working equipment, traveling mechanism, safety protection equipment of various departments, hydraulic transmission components and electrical equipment. And make sure they are completely intact before launching.

6. There should be no pedestrians and obstacles in the work area. Before digging, give a hint and try digging a few times. After confirming that it is normal, you can start the operation.

7. In case of large solid stones or obstacles, they must be removed before excavation. Do not crush rocks, frozen soil, or gnaw hard with one-sided bucket teeth.

8. Protective measures should be taken when excavating cliffs. No loose boulders should be left on the work surface. If there is a danger of collapse, deal with it immediately or evacuate the small excavator to a safe place.

9. When working, you must wait for the fuselage to stop before digging. The bucket must not be lifted or lowered too much, and must not hit the frame or track when lowered.

10. When loading, the bucket should be as low as possible without hitting any part of the car. Do not load the car until the car has stopped or the bucket has to jump over the cab and the driver has not left.
